Xiaomi released the Mijia Pocket Photo Printer Pro Gift Box in China, pricing the package at around $119. Inside the bundle, buyers receive the Mijia Pocket Photo Printer Pro in a special light purple color, a carrying bag, and a photo frame.
While the standard Mijia Pocket Photo Printer Pro debuted at roughly $90, the new Gift Box costs about $30 more than the base model.
Gift Box Adds a Frame and Carrying Bag
Buyers can place the bundled photo frame on a flat desk surface or stick it to a refrigerator door using the integrated magnet. The frame also functions as a compact photo holder with storage capacity for up to 20 printed images. Separate storage compartments inside the carrying bag separate the device from its consumables during transport.
Prints at 313 DPI With Automatic Lamination
Using dye-sublimation printing methods, the Mijia Pocket Photo Printer Pro outputs pictures at a resolution of 313 dpi. The device handles 16.7 million colors alongside 256 gray levels, which Xiaomi states ensures precise color reproduction. Every picture receives an automatic protective layer during the printing process to resist moisture and prevent fading or aging over time.
Supports AR Videos and Audio
Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity allows up to three individuals to pair with the printer at the same time. Using the companion app provided by Xiaomi, owners can connect audio clips or videos to physical prints, allowing others to scan a printed QR code to hear the audio or view the video. The software application additionally supplies editing tools such as watermarks, filters, custom borders, and collage templates.
Main Difference Is the New Color and Accessories
Core printing capabilities and augmented reality video functions already existed on the standard version of the printer. Consequently, the distinct light purple exterior, carrying bag, and photo frame separate this Gift Box from the regular edition. Xiaomi has not revealed any plans for a release outside of China.
