Xreal released the Xreal 1 Pro+, which is its newest pair of augmented reality glasses, bringing substantial display enhancements without changing the $599 starting price of the older model. Peak brightness represents the most significant enhancement, as the new device achieves 1,200 nits compared to 700 nits on the Xreal 1 Pro.

Brighter Display and Faster 3D Conversion

Upgrades were also made to the 2D-to-3D conversion mechanism on the Xreal 1 Pro+. Spatial content should look smoother now because conversion support reaches 60fps, doubling the 30fps rate of the earlier version. Sony 0.55-inch Micro-OLED panels remain in use, offering 1,920 × 1,200 pixels of resolution alongside a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, Xreal introduced an artificial intelligence HDR function to enhance overall visual quality.

57-Degree Field of View

A 57-degree field of view is maintained by the Xreal 1 Pro+, accommodating virtual displays between 34 inches and 556 inches in size. Native support for three degrees of freedom, or 3DoF, is built in for spatial viewing.

X1 Spatial Computing Chip

Driving the eyewear is the proprietary X1 spatial computing chip from Xreal, delivering 3ms motion-to-photon latency. Modifications were also applied to the nose pad, featuring a wider contact surface. According to the manufacturer, this revision delivers improved stability and comfort during extended wear. Connectivity relies on USB-C, functioning with any equipment compatible with DisplayPort Alt Mode, much like the prior iteration.
