Comtech Associates took home five Cisco partner awards during the Ingram Micro Gulf x Cisco Awards Night held in Pakistan, gaining recognition across cloud and AI, public sector, SMB and mid-market, and innovation segments.

The accolades celebrate the firm's work with Cisco technology and its effect on client outcomes, adding to an expanding list of Cisco honors.

The Five Awards

Cisco listed the categories in which Comtech Associates was honoured, noting that its partner awards are granted for outstanding business results and a strong commitment to Cisco, while technology awards acknowledge partners leading with specific solutions.

  • Cisco Beyond the Blueprint Award: awarded for Comtech Associates' innovative vision and execution that go beyond standard expectations, judged on innovation, business growth and alignment with Cisco's strategy.
  • Cisco Cloud & AI Partner of the Year: recognised for leading cloud and AI technology adoption and delivering superior business outcomes for customers.
  • Cisco Public Sector Partner of the Year: honoured for business performance and dedication to Cisco in driving technology transformation within the public sector.
  • Cisco Deal (Cloud & AI award): acknowledged for providing technology solutions that enable smarter, more connected communities.
  • Cisco SMB & Mid-Market Partner of the Year: celebrated for business results in supplying Cisco solutions to growing enterprises.

Collectively, the awards cover cloud and AI uptake, public-sector change and technology for expanding businesses.

A Team Achievement

The honors meant a proud moment for CEO Muhammad Farooq Zaheer, Director of Sales Rehan Shaikh and Director Abdul Rehman Zaheer, reflecting the effort of the whole Comtech workforce.

Comtech expressed gratitude to Osama Zakaria Elshantaf, Kashif Ul Haque and Mohamad Besher of Cisco, as well as the Cisco Pakistan team, for their ongoing trust and support, and thanked its customers for allowing the firm to join their technology journeys.

The latest recognition follows a busy period with Cisco. Comtech Associates and Cisco have jointly appeared at ITCN Asia events in Karachi (2025), Lahore (2026) and Karachi (2026). At the 2026 Karachi show, a three-day shared booth showcased live Cisco demos and a Cisco Meraki Cloud Solutions session led by Muhammad Irfan Ghauri, Comtech's Head of Solutions, with Cisco's Country General Manager for Pakistan, Kashif Ul Haque, joining the CEO at the stand.

Ghauri and his technical crew demonstrated Cisco's full portfolio through live showcases, backed by deployments such as Cisco ACI for Bank Islami.

Cisco had earlier honoured Comtech with the 2024 Cisco SMB Emerging Partner of the Year and the 2025 Cisco SMB Partner Award.

A Partnership With A Track Record

The acknowledgment builds on an active collaboration with Cisco Systems. Comtech Associates and Cisco have co-presented at ITCN Asia in Karachi (2025), Lahore (2026) and Karachi (2026). During the 2026 Karachi event, a joint three-day booth featured live Cisco demonstrations and a Cisco Meraki Cloud Solutions session led by Muhammad Irfan Ghauri, Head of Solutions at Comtech Associates, with Cisco's Country General Manager for Pakistan, Kashif Ul Haque, accompanying the CEO.

Ghauri's team pitched Cisco's entire suite to customers via live demos, supported by successful projects like Cisco ACI for Bank Islami. The approach remains consistent: present the solution, validate it live, then deploy. The portfolio spans cybersecurity (firewalls, Zero Trust, endpoint security), campus and branch networking, computing and AI data-center infrastructure (UCS, Intersight, hybrid cloud), collaboration tools (Webex, conferencing, contact centre), wireless, IP telephony, Cisco Meraki cloud networking and security, plus professional services for consulting, support and implementation.

Cisco previously recognised Comtech Associates with the 2024 Cisco SMB Emerging Partner of the Year and the 2025 Cisco SMB Partner Award.
