Daraz Pakistan recently hosted two large gatherings, holding the Daraz Seller Summit in Karachi and the inaugural Daraz Brands Summit in Lahore. These meetings drew over 1,200 merchants, brand delegates, and sector participants to reinforce the platform ecosystem prior to the major 11.11 shopping event.
The Seller Summit returned following a three-year break while the Brands Summit debuted for the first time. Company leaders used both meetings to present strategic goals, discuss shifting shopping habits, and examine avenues for long-term expansion in digital commerce.
Four main pillars formed the core of customer experience discussions: Speed, Variety, Quality, and Value. Daraz also detailed ongoing funding in technology, delivery operations, merchant utilities, and system upgrades.
Ben Yi, Managing Director of Daraz Pakistan, stated during the gatherings, "The future of e-commerce in Pakistan depends on creating an environment where businesses of all sizes can grow, reach more customers and unlock new opportunities. At Daraz, our role is to enable that growth by bringing together the right technology, infrastructure and capabilities to help our partners succeed. These summits reflect our commitment to listening more closely to sellers and brands, understanding their evolving needs and working together to build a stronger, more sustainable digital commerce ecosystem. By drawing on the technology, experience and capabilities of Alibaba International Digital Commerce Group, we see significant opportunities to support the next phase of e-commerce growth in Pakistan."
Conversations at the Seller Summit centered on upgrading digital operations, refining item choices, and using system tools for steady expansion. More than 1,000 vendors attended this gathering to exchange knowledge and acknowledge merchant contributions.
The first Brands Summit gathered delegates from 200 companies spanning electronics, fashion, beauty, FMCG, and lifestyle sectors. Talks centered on product debuts, buyer acquisition, visibility, and category development, supported by roughly 1,500 verified brand stores currently operating on DarazMall.
Both conferences placed heavy emphasis on the upcoming 11.11 shopping festival. Executives shared campaign preparations while stressing the value of reliable delivery, genuine items, and competitive pricing.
Leading up to 11.11, the firm continues to collaborate with merchants and labels to boost consumer trust and expand digital market participation.
