Residents of Islamabad can now receive their driving licenses at home following the launch of a new delivery service by the Islamabad Traffic Police.
The traffic department joined forces with TCS to send driving licenses directly to applicants, removing the need for people to visit the traffic police office to collect them.
Officials stated that this project brings greater convenience to residents of the federal capital by offering fast and secure delivery while saving citizens time.
Finished driving licenses go through TCS for dispatch and arrive straight at the address provided by the applicant.
Three primary advantages of the program were pointed out by the Islamabad Traffic Police, which include time savings, rapid and secure delivery, and the convenience of home delivery.
Enhancing public facilitation and simplifying access to traffic services motivated the department to introduce this option.
Information regarding delivery fees or whether the program covers all types of driving licenses, such as new permits and renewals, was not included in the official statement.
