Authorities must immediately free Anmol, a suspected drug peddler commonly called Pinky, following her acquittal in two additional matters by a Karachi court due to insufficient proof.

On Friday, the Additional District and Sessions Judge for Karachi South delivered this ruling after state prosecutors failed to provide adequate proof connecting her to charges of narcotics and facilitation.

The judge granted her request for acquittal and instructed officials to set her free right away unless she is needed for another legal matter.

Previously, authorities cleared her brother, Nasir, in that exact narcotics recovery matter.

Anmol, also called Pinky, has beaten charges in five total matters following this recent decision. The Counter Terrorism Department filed a separate case against her back in 2018.
