On Saturday, Justice Ahsan Raza Kazmi of the Lahore High Court instructed officials to publish Medical and Dental College Admission Test question papers alongside their codes on the official website, ensuring they remain accessible until admissions conclude. The ruling addresses petitions submitted by Noshaab A. Khan and other individuals.

Transparency principles require keeping the papers online, the judge noted, explaining that taking them down would hinder students from raising objections. This decision arrives alongside worries regarding the reliability of the test in Sindh. The exam remains mandatory for applicants pursuing medical and dental college seats throughout Pakistan.

Federal authorities previously reached out to the Sindh administration regarding grievances about the examination, demanding an independent and transparent probe. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council sent a letter to the health minister of Sindh to demand a probe into the accusations, ordering the provincial administration to finalize the investigation and deliver a report inside two weeks. These worries surfaced after claims of a leaked question paper spread across social media platforms, prompting politicians to question the transparency and reliability of the test.
