Peshawar finished receiving all 52 newly bought buses for its Bus Rapid Transit network on Friday morning after 27 additional vehicles reached the Chamkani depot.

TransPeshawar noted that 25 units reached the city in the previous month, bringing the total fleet count up to 296 buses with this latest delivery of 27.

The company stated that these extra vehicles will enhance traveler services, upgrade current operations, and allow the launch of fresh routes.

Authorities also addressed false rumors spreading online regarding footage of the vehicle transport. TransPeshawar explained that rather than being removed from Peshawar, the buses were actively being delivered into the municipality.

The successful arrival of the full batch of 52 buses has fully resolved questions raised by the online videos, according to the transport organization.
