Punjab Police Inspector General selected 14 officers for advanced training in China to reinforce Pakistan financial crime defenses.
Specialists will instruct the group on detecting and stopping financial crimes from October 28 to November 10 inside China.
Instruction focuses on stopping the transfer of illegal money and valuable minerals that might fund terrorism or other crimes within Pakistan and Punjab.
Pakistan previously landed on the Financial Action Task Force grey list due to worries about illicit money transfers, though the country later exited that status after stepping up performance and countermeasures.
The sessions take place at a Chinese police training academy between October 28 and November 10, giving Pakistani personnel insight into contemporary illegal funds transfer tactics since China holds the FATF presidency.
Participants will also study methods to block various money laundering techniques, such as trade-based schemes.
