A three-year-old child was expelled from a youth sports league after angry administrators contacted law enforcement because the youngster possessed exceptional skills, according to his father.
The young player, named Nevada and aged three, appeared in video footage dominating possession and gliding past competitors during a fixture in Florida.
However, his standout athletic ability triggered an intense sideline argument after organizers claimed he shoved other kids and refused to share the ball.
The toddler, who commands a following of more than 400,000 users on TikTok, became the center of a heated confrontation when police officers arrived at the field.
His outraged mother and father argue their child faced punishment solely for his superior soccer talent, while the coach maintains the boy played in an overly aggressive manner.
Video recordings capture Nevada dribbling around helpless opponents and striking goals prior to the arrival of law enforcement at the i9 Sports event in Winter Park.
His shocked father, Don Pierre, stated on record, "They called the police on a 3-year-old because he is too good."
He added, "They called the police on a 3-year-old because he has the ball for too long. And nobody else can get the ball. So, they called the police on him."
Despite this, police body camera footage subsequently uncovered the intense argument that prompted the dispatch of officers.
One league administrator acknowledged that Nevada performed far better than his peers, yet asserted the child pushed fellow participants.
He stated to the responding officers, "The kid is good. He's great. Really good."
He continued, "He's very advanced compared to the other ones, so he's scoring a lot of goals. But he's pushing the kids. ... So, I try to tell him, don't push; we want to play without pushing, right?"
The coach stated he placed the three-year-old on the bench to grant other participants an opportunity to play, which ignited an argumentative dispute with the parents.
He then demanded that officers escort the family away from the athletic field, instructing them, "I just want him out. Immediately."
Conversely, Nevada's mother, Martasia Griffin, pushed back against the claims and accused administrators of targeting her son due to his athletic ability.
She informed the officers, "They're mad at my son because he actually plays soccer. They're literally kicking him out of this place because he's good at soccer."
She further noted, "First, they said he's not passing, but nobody's catching the ball when he's passing."
Clips published by the family display the young athlete weaving around competitors and netting multiple points, though the footage does not capture any shoving.
His parents, who invested nearly £225 ($300) to enroll him in the league, later stated that officials ejected their son as a result of the altercation.
They also distributed an image of a message purportedly sent by i9 Sports granting a refund for the 2026 Fall League.
Winter Park Police verified that units responded to a reported disturbance involving organizers and the parents of Nevada, rather than any concerns regarding his athletic capability.
The organizer requested that law enforcement banish the family from the premises, but officers determined the disagreement constituted a civil dispute and lacked legal authority to compel their departure.
Nevada and his parents departed the location without further incident, and no arrests or trespassing notices occurred.
Even one of the responding law enforcement personnel appeared struck by the athletic proficiency of the toddler.
Body camera footage captured him laughing before remarking, "I kinda want to see him play. I bet he's good."
The unusual athletic dispute generated a significant social media reaction, with thousands criticizing the alleged treatment directed at the child.
One confused internet user asked, "Why would police waste their time responding to this?"
Another commentator wrote, "This level of ridiculousness shouldn't have happened to him, however his future looks very bright since he's obviously a born champion."
The youth athletic organization i9 Sports initiated an investigation into the event following the public backlash.
A representative shared with the Daily Mail, "We are aware of concerns being shared regarding an incident at a local i9 Sports program, and we take them very seriously."
The spokesperson added, "The respectful treatment and well-being of every child and family matter deeply to us. We have reached out to the family and have begun a review that includes speaking with those involved. While we work to understand the circumstances, we will not speculate or share unverified information. We appreciate everyone who has brought their concerns to our attention."
The unusual confrontation also drew the attention of children's media personality Ms Rachel, who criticized the situation before an audience of six million Instagram followers.
The social media figure offered to invite Nevada onto her program after reviewing recordings of his soccer abilities.
She posted, "I'm LIVID! Please sports people give him all the experiences and love. @nevadaney10 We'd love to have him on our show to share his amazing skills. I need sports people to show up for him."
