Medical personnel rushed to the pitch yesterday to treat a player who lost consciousness after suffering a severe kick to the head. Quadri Liameed, representing Sabadell in the Spanish second division, took the blow from Albacete player Jose Corpas.

As Liameed attempted a header near the edge of the penalty box, Corpas appeared to attempt a volley at the same time. Liameed won the duel but immediately received a heavy swinging kick to the head, causing him to fall uncontrollably while apparently knocked out cold.

Trainers sprinted onto the field to provide attention before an ambulance transported the athlete to the hospital. Match officials dismissed Corpas with a red card for the dangerous challenge, which appeared accidental.

Sabadell shared an update on Sunday morning confirming that Liameed left the hospital following medical treatment. The club stated on social media that all tests returned positive results, allowing the player to return to Sabadell that night while expressing gratitude to the medical team of Albacete for their constant assistance.

At the moment of the collision, which occurred right before half-time, Albacete held a two-goal lead. The remaining ten players managed to maintain their advantage and secured the victory against Liameed's team.
