Bargain hunters are rushing to purchase a Christmas dinner box from supermarket Iceland that requires zero food preparation. The retailer launched its holiday collection featuring options like the Chocolate Éclair Wreath for £10 and the Creme Brulee Cheesecake for £5 alongside party snacks.

However, a meal kit designed to feed four individuals for prices starting at £25 has captured widespread online attention. The packages include a main dish along with all side dishes and gravy, and they cook straight from the freezer. Four choices are available this year including beef at £30, traditional turkey at £30, gammon at £25, and a returning chicken box at £25.

Social media creator Lucy selected the turkey option and detailed the contents for her followers. The £30 turkey box contains a turkey breast joint, roast potatoes, parsnips, sprouts and bacon with butter, stuffing balls, carrots, pigs in blankets, and turkey gravy.

Commenting on the package, Lucy told her online audience, "I think that looks like a pretty good deal. Could you buy them all individually for less? I'm not sure." She noted that the meal came with instructions and provided enough food for four plated portions with leftovers remaining.

Offering some critique about the accompaniments, Lucy stated, "The gravy was beautiful. However, it was only beautiful because I added some cornflour and gave it a good mix to make it thicker because it was very, very thin and I like thick gravy." She added, "Just bear that in mind if you like your gravy thicker," before concluding that the product offered fantastic value for the cost.

The video clip gained more than 300,000 views within a week, drawing over 100 comments from social media users sharing positive feedback about the meal kits. Matt Worsley, head of product development at Iceland Foods, previously explained the company's approach to the holiday lineup. He said, "At Iceland, we know Christmas is all about bringing people together over great food, and our 2026 range has been created with exactly that in mind." He added that the products offer convenient solutions for various budgets and celebrations without premium price tags.
