Chelsea supporters felt "goosebumps" after a TNT Sports video posted on X showed Cole Palmer and Eden Hazard talking at Stamford Bridge following the club's 2-0 win over Manchester United.

The clip carried the caption: "Imagine these two sharing the pitch together 😮‍💨." Fans quickly imagined the two stars playing side by side.

One fan wrote: "It would've been so special 🥹." Another added: "That smile from Cole at the end 😂😂😂 goosebumps man." A third commented: "The way Palmer is looking at him says a lot, 'how can I ever be like you." Yet another simply declared: "My GOAT."

Hazard, who spent seven years at Stamford Bridge and became an icon, remains a hero to the fanbase. Both the Belgian and Palmer have operated in creative roles behind the striker.

Palmer scored against United, calmly converting a penalty in the 64th minute to secure the 2-0 victory. Morgan Rogers had opened the scoring five minutes after the break, before Palmer's spot-kick wrapped up the points.

The win lifted Chelsea into fourth place, though Liverpool could overtake them if they defeat Arsenal.

Palmer now plays on the right side of the attacking duo under Xabi Alonso, with Rogers on the left.

The role recalls the 2016/17 season when Hazard featured on the left of a similar pair in Antonio Conte's 3-4-2-1 system. Hazard was key as Chelsea clinched the Premier League title that year, allowing the Blues to focus solely on domestic football after missing European qualification.

This season offers a comparable chance for Alonso's side, as Chelsea again have no European commitments and can concentrate on the league.

Chelsea's next match is on Sunday at the Stadium of Light against bottom-placed Sunderland.
