Fallon Sherrock will treat her son lavishly after clinching a £501,000 jackpot by defeating world No 1 Luke Littler.

The former hairdresser, 32, was among 20 amateurs trying to outplay the teenage star in a one-leg shootout on the Netflix special 'Beat Luke Littler' aired Friday night.

She and the other non-pros faced Littler before millions of live viewers, with the promise of more than half a million pounds for the first to beat him.

Sherrock, one of the most prominent names on the 24-person longlist, attracted attention because of her top-level darts background.

Her nickname comes from being the only female to win a match at the World Darts Championship in Ally Pally.

She lived up to the moniker, edging Littler in the bull-off to throw first, then hitting a 180 and finishing on double tops with her next dart to secure the prize.

When asked about her plans, Sherrock said: "Spoil Rory (her son), probably buy a house with it." She added, "It depends how much I get taxed!"

She appeared near tears after holding her nerve to beat the defending back-to-back world champion.

The celebrations were set to continue into the night after the event concluded at the 2,500-seater Manchester Central Convention Complex.

Regarding weekend plans, Sherrock joked: "I think I'm going to celebrate tonight, I'm not going to lie. We'll see what happens tomorrow, I take each day by each day. I don't plan ahead anyway, so we'll see what happens."

She said she has plenty of time to decide how to use the "life-changing" money.

She added: "I'll be honest, if you'd seen any videos or anything from the back room, I was shouting for people! It's not because I want Luke to lose or anything, it's because this prize money is life-changing. It's definitely going to change my life. I feel like people think I have more money than I have, and I really haven't."

The darts star was photographed celebrating with a glass of bubbly, posting a picture of herself sipping champagne with friends and family after the win.

Sherrock is scheduled to compete at the Worlds later this year and could potentially meet Littler again in the draw for a rematch.
