Racing tipster Templegate provides his top selections across the cards for Wednesday's fixtures.

Pure Mint (6.45 Kempton, nap)

Simon Crisford's youngster debuted at Ripon in late July with a nearly five-length victory after leading the pace. Following an uncharacteristic performance conceding weight at Ascot, the horse placed second on handicap debut at Nottingham. Oisin Murphy is booked to ride, and the handicap mark appears favourable since the third-place finisher at Nottingham subsequently won at Newmarket.

Centigrade (2.16 Nottingham, nb)

This runner enters with light freshness following four appearances this season. The campaign began with a victory at Southwell, followed by a solid performance in a competitive handicap at York. After a troubled run at Sandown, the horse bounced back with an impressive front-running win on testing ground at Haydock, making conditions ideal for another strong bid.

Crown The Future (5.15 Kempton, treble)

Tony Carroll's three-year-old competitor brings strong all-weather form, securing one victory and two runner-up finishes across the last three outings on sand. After a narrow second and a comfortable victory at Wolverhampton last month, the horse matched that level by finishing second at Southwell earlier in the week. Marco Ghiani takes the mount for this race.
