Repair work has forced the National Highways and Motorway Police to shut the northbound lanes of Motorway M-4 between Faisalabad Interchange and Pindi Bhattian.

Syed Imran Ahmed, spokesperson for the Motorway Police Central Region, stated that traffic along the 52-kilometer stretch now faces a diversion, with alternative paths open for drivers heading north.

Drivers moving north may use the Chiniot–Pindi Bhattian Road to reach Motorway M-2. Officials set up this diversion to keep traffic moving while workers repair the damaged portion.

Meanwhile, the southbound lanes heading from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad continue to stay open normally.

Ahmed mentioned that workers put up signboards and finished safety measures on the alternate paths to direct drivers and protect them.

Motorway Police instructed drivers to take the marked alternate routes and obey traffic guidelines to prevent trouble while repairs happen.

The agency also asked motorists to drive carefully and work with traffic officers when passing through the work zone.
