Liquefied petroleum gas rates dropped by Rs. 20 to Rs. 30 per kilogram across certain areas of Hyderabad within one day, bringing brief relief to buyers dealing with stubbornly high market prices.
Vendors who previously charged roughly Rs. 550 per kilogram now offer the fuel between Rs. 520 and Rs. 530, based on updates from various neighborhoods around the municipality.
Merchants pointed to a recent LPG cargo reaching the port as the main driver for the decrease. Distributors had been providing plant stock at Rs. 520 per kilogram prior to dropping the charge to Rs. 490 on Monday, which caused sellers to lower their figures.
Even so, current market charges stay well above the official rate established by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority. The agency determined the household LPG cost at Rs. 279.34 per kilogram for this month.
Despite this downward shift, buyers and auto-rickshaw operators still face heavy financial strain from expensive LPG. Numerous individuals are cutting back on usage because market costs stay out of reach.
