Public safety concerns and project planning questions arose in Hyderabad, Sindh, when video footage revealed electricity poles standing directly in the middle of a newly built road connecting Qasimabad to Hyderabad city from Alamdar Chowk to the Old National Highway.
Residents condemned officials for failing to remove the poles before paving the street, with local motorists dodging the hazards while comparing the commute to a video game.
Haleem Adil Sheikh, who serves as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindh President, targeted the provincial administration over the matter by posting the video on X and questioning their execution of development initiatives.

Kashif Ali Shoro, the Hyderabad Mayor, had a spokesperson issue a clarification stating that the road remains unfinished and crews are currently moving the utility poles.
The representative explained that the initiative requires shifting 162 utility poles total, with 10 out of 27 electricity feeders already moved and the rest of the work in progress.
Officials in the mayor administration advised residents to avoid traveling on the route until construction finishes and the path opens officially for vehicles.
The spokesperson stated that the roadway should finish construction and open for public use by the end of November.
