Pakistan Railways approved 829 jobs spanning Grade 1 to Grade 16 under the Balochistan quota, sending 805 posts to the Quetta Division and 24 roles to the headquarters.

Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi instructed staff to guarantee merit and fairness during the entire hiring campaign. He stated that the recruitment under the Balochistan quota will finish before November 30, 2026.

The approved roles feature a 10% allocation for women alongside a 5% allocation for minorities. The hiring scheme also provides distinct waivers from screening and written tests for the specified jobs.

Pakistan Railways put out a call for applications for these openings via the National Jobs Portal, establishing November 11, 2026, as the final date.

Candidates need to send in their national identity cards, educational certificates, character documents, domicile papers, and passport-size pictures during the application procedure.

The hiring drive targets empty posts across the named grades through the Balochistan quota, while the railway minister stressed finishing the work inside the stated schedule and keeping fairness in employment.
