Tuesday marked the 270th consecutive day that the Pakistani rupee finished in the green against the US dollar. Advancing by one paisa, the currency settled at 276.8.
December 25, 2025 marked the beginning of this unbroken period of increases against the dollar.
Other Currencies
Against the British Pound, the rupee moved up by 70 paisas. It also rose by five paisas versus the Australian Dollar. Increases included Rs. 1.56 against the Euro and five paisas against the Canadian Dollar. Furthermore, the local currency went up by one paisa against the UAE Dirham while remaining steady versus the Saudi Riyal.
