The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) disclosed a 15-member roster for the ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2026, appointing Farhan Yousuf as captain for the tournament in Oman scheduled from November 5 to 14.
Defending champions Pakistan will play in Group A with India, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Group B comprises Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia in the eight-team event.
The board kept 13 players from the side that defeated England 3-1 in a four-match Youth ODI series in September. Only Ali Raza and Huzaifa Ahsan were added from outside that group.
Wicketkeeper-batters Abdul Qadir and Hamza Zahoor join the batting line-up that includes Usman Khan, Hayam Khan, Jahangir Bilal, Huzaifa Ahsan and captain Farhan.
All-round options are Ahmed Hussain and Hasnain Abbas Dar. The pace unit features Abdul Subhan, Mohammad Seyam, Ali Raza and Rizwanullah, while left-arm wrist-spinner Mohammad Huzaifa and left-arm spinner Niqab Shafiq complete the bowling attack.
Pakistan secured the previous edition in the UAE, beating India by 191 runs in the final at Dubai's ICC Academy Ground.
The title defence begins against the UAE on November 6 at OCA Ground 2, followed by matches versus India on November 8 and Nepal on November 10, both at OCA Ground 1.
Semifinals are set for November 12 and the final for November 14, with all games starting at 10 a.m. Pakistan Standard Time (PKT).
