British border authorities intercepted more than 10,000 doses of smuggled Godzilla weight-loss injections during the first nine months of 2026, marking a massive surge from only six doses captured throughout all of 2025.
Criminal syndicates are inundating Britain with counterfeit variations of these powerful fat-busting medications. Pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly is currently conducting late-stage clinical tests on the authentic drug, which currently lacks regulatory approval for human consumption globally.
Participants in these medical trials experienced reductions of nearly 30 per cent in body weight. Unauthorised vendors are currently marketing imitation products directly through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Retatrutide currently accounts for 93 per cent of all illicit weight-loss injection doses intercepted at British borders, according to investigative findings. Total border confiscations for counterfeit and unlicensed slimming injections climbed from 435 doses in 2025 up to 11,228 doses during the current year.
Enforcement operations targeting illegal fat-jab manufacturing facilities recovered an additional 68,776 doses beginning from the start of last year. Laboratory analyses of 72 suspicious injections evaluated since the beginning of 2025 revealed that 17 samples contained zero weight-loss medication, exposing dieters to injections of unidentified liquids.
Additional samples contained retatrutide varying between 6mg and 25mg per ml, leaving consumers completely unaware of their actual dosage levels. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency stated, "People should be extremely cautious when buying medicines online."
