Routine tax collection duties will continue on Saturday, October 31, as the Federal Board of Revenue keeps its offices open to process payments and duties.
All Regional Tax Offices, Corporate Tax Offices, and Large Taxpayer Offices will function during regular business hours under directives released by the agency. Inland Revenue Chief Commissioners received orders to maintain standard operations and keep designated facilities accessible.
Staff members will assist citizens with technical difficulties and other hurdles encountered during the filing process, ensuring smooth submission of returns and payments, according to agency representatives.
Chief Commissioners must also supervise daily schedules, staff performance, and administrative duties. The agency stated that this step will improve collection efficiency and offer prompt support to taxpayers.
