Anti-party stance

England captain Harry Kane celebrated his Ballon d'Or victory at the London nightclub Cirque Le Soir on Monday night. The 33-year-old striker typically avoids alcohol during the football season, only having a cocktail while on summer holiday. Kane prefers spending his free time at home with his wife, Katie Goodland, and their children, while also playing golf and walking his dogs Brady and Wilson.

Kane told Football365, "I like to keep things private and I think that's all down to the type of person I am. I'm a pretty normal guy and do normal things. I've never been someone who goes out to nightclubs. When I have spare time, I like to spend it with my wife and kids, I like to play some golf. Unfortunately, there are some things that are a bit more difficult to do when you are going to a busy place and people recognise you. In general, I'm just a pretty normal guy."

The Kate factor

Kane maintains his physical durability with help from his wife Katie, a sports science graduate and fitness instructor, alongside personal chef Dan Sergeant. His nutrition plan adapts to his daily physical workload. He drinks turmeric and ginger shots to reduce post-match inflammation, while breakfasts consist of eggs and avocado on brown bread or a spinach omelette. He also eats slow-cooked bone broth dishes and switches to lighter proteins like white fish, salmon, and chicken on low-intensity days.

But even Kane has a cheat meal

To match the longevity of players like Cristiano Ronaldo, 42, and Robert Lewandowski, 38, Kane limits cheat meals. Reports indicate he occasionally eats crispy chicken burgers with coleslaw and spicy mayo, classic cheeseburgers, steak, and ribs. In a 2017 interview with The Telegraph, he named apple crumble with custard as his favorite guilty pleasure, and he has also enjoyed Five Guys chocolate milkshakes.
