A free scooter training program for women has been launched by Islamabad Traffic Police to run from November 1 to 15, designed to build daily travel confidence and independence.

Kainat Azhar Khan, the Chief Traffic Officer, explained that the project provides practical riding skills and safer transportation choices to empower women.

Practical lessons take place at the Uraan Driving School without any cost to participants, under the watchful eye of experienced female police officers.

According to Kainat Azhar Khan, the police force takes significant measures to foster independence and female empowerment, keeping safe and confident mobility as a main priority.

She mentioned that the project builds self-reliance and self-confidence for women during their everyday routines.

The department seeks to deliver fresh options for secure and independent journeys through these lessons.

Women received encouragement from the department to fully use this opportunity during the early half of November.
