Motorola rolled out the Moto G47 Power across Europe, growing its Moto G47 phone series by introducing a bigger battery along with faster charging capabilities.
A 7,000mAh battery powers the new device, replacing the 5,200mAh capacity found in the baseline Moto G47. According to Motorola, this power source delivers a runtime of up to 78 hours per single charge.
Additional standout specs encompass a 120Hz screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a main camera with 108 megapixels.
Design and Display
An LCD measuring 6.67 inches comes with the Moto G47 Power, offering a 720 by 1604 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Peak brightness hits 1,050 nits under high-brightness mode, while Gorilla Glass 7i shields the screen surface.
Dimensions for the handset span 166.23 by 76.5 by 8.89mm with a weight of 215g, making it thicker and heavier than the standard Moto G47 model, which measures 7.9mm thick and weighs 191g.
Protection against dust and splashes arrives via an IP64 rating, paired with a MIL-STD-810H certification from Motorola.
Buyers can choose from three Pantone shades consisting of Capri, Nautical Blue, and Impenetrable. The Capri option takes the place of the Fuchsia Red colorway offered on the standard Moto G47.
Internals and Software
Driving the Moto G47 Power is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset working alongside 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space.
Only one memory variant exists for the Power edition, unlike the multiple options for the standard model, though users retain the ability to expand space using a microSD card.
Android 16 comes preinstalled on the device straight out of the box, even though Android 17 is already available.
Stereo speakers featuring Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC connectivity, and a fingerprint scanner mounted on the side round out the hardware additions.
Cameras
Two sensors make up the rear camera system on the Moto G47 Power, combining a 108MP primary lens alongside a 2MP macro lens.
Selfies and video calls rely on an 8MP front-facing camera.
Motorola carried over the exact camera hardware from the regular Moto G47.
Battery and Pricing
Upgrading the battery to 7,000mAh marks the most significant change on the Moto G47 Power when measured against the 5,200mAh pack inside the base Moto G47.
The manufacturer states that the larger cell delivers up to 78 hours of operation on one charge.
Wired charging speeds also climb from 20W to 30W, and the phone additionally supports 6W wired reverse charging to let users power up other compatible gear.
European retail pricing is set at €339, while UK buyers face a cost of £299.
Outside of the expanded battery capacity, faster charging rates, and slight body redesign, the technical specifications remain identical to the standard Moto G47.
