Federal authorities urged the integration of digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness into educational programs spanning schools, colleges, and universities to safeguard youth from internet dangers.

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar announced this on Thursday during the conclusion of Cybersecurity Awareness Week. He stated that Pakistan requires better regulations and modern policies to tackle hazards from fast-changing technology.

Tarar pointed out that digital studies ought to address online safety, cyberattacks, and fake news, allowing students to spot digital dangers and stay safe online. He demanded curriculum updates to account for the rising significance of digital skills and cybersecurity.

The minister encouraged state authorities to collaborate with key partners, hold meetings, and run training programs for public education. He insisted that cybersecurity learning must reach citizens nationwide and youth should participate in building a secure digital space.
