A fresh School Monitoring App was launched by the Punjab School Education Department (SED) to boost accountability, oversight, and openness within educational institutions throughout the province.

This program seeks to reach 60,015 schools by giving education officials a centralized digital platform to check teachers' performance, school buildings, and students' learning results.

The department stated that the application unifies various oversight tasks into a single system, substituting older disconnected methods with one digital tool to aid data-driven choices.

Capabilities within the app allow tracking of academic progress, evaluation of classroom instruction, and inspection of school amenities, alongside data on student enrollment, room availability, and building conditions.

Three distinct organizations have their monitoring tasks merged into this platform, namely the School Education Department (SED), the Punjab Education Initiatives Management Authority (PEIMA), and the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF).

Logins require authorized users to enter their CNIC and password, after which they pick their designated schools to view various oversight sections like student evaluations, teaching checks, and facility states.

Expectations from the department are that the project will enhance school supervision and clarity while assisting officials in spotting sectors requiring fixes within the education network of Punjab.
