Master Changan Motors Limited marked a manufacturing milestone on 27 October 2026 by holding a line-off ceremony in Karachi for the NEVO Hunter, which is Pakistan's first locally assembled REEV 4x4 truck.

The company shifted from installing equipment to rolling out production in less than 90 days, setting up a new body-on-frame REEV assembly line to expand advanced new-energy technology in Pakistan.

As the first NEVO vehicle in the country, the Hunter introduces Changan's mass electrification goals to the truck market after its recent unveiling at The Next Leap.

The NEVO Hunter isn't here to join the truck category; it's here to redefine it. Master Changan Motors Limited stated that the vehicle combines SUV comfort, conventional truck ruggedness, and electrified technology into one package.

The truck runs on a dual-motor powertrain built on Changan's global NEV truck platform, producing 322 hp and 529 Nm of torque, and reaches 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. It features a multi-link independent rear suspension, a 63 dB cabin, panoramic dual screens, ventilated seats, and advanced safety systems.

Energy comes from a 31.18 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery with an IP68 waterproof rating and five-layer protection, supporting DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

A 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system allows the truck to function as a mobile power source, supplying up to 227 kWh of energy with full fuel and battery to run a 1,000W setup for over nine days.

The vehicle uses a high-strength body-on-frame ladder chassis with intelligent 4x4, offering a 1,010 kg payload capacity and a 2.5-tonne towing capacity alongside electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist, and hill-descent control.

The introductory price is set at PKR 10,990,000. Master Changan Motors Limited reported that bookings are full through February 2027 and deliveries have started.
