OnePlus has launched the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro in China, introducing two gaming-focused smartphones with built-in cooling fans, 9,000mAh batteries, and 185Hz displays.
Both devices include 100W fast charging, 200MP main cameras, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite-series processors.
The starting price for the OnePlus Ace 7 is approximately $655, while the Ace 7 Pro costs around $715.
These new models debut less than three weeks following the OnePlus 16.
Design and Display
The OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro are equipped with 6.78-inch AMOLED displays offering a resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels.
Refresh rates reach up to 165Hz during everyday tasks and increase to 185Hz in supported games.
An integrated eye-protection feature helps lower eye fatigue during long periods of use.
Construction details include metal frames, symmetrical stereo speakers, and X-axis vibration motors that supply haptic feedback for gaming.
Ratings of IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protect both models against dust and water ingress.
A frosted glass back featuring a wind-inspired layered pattern distinguishes the Ace 7 Pro.
The standard Ace 7 comes in Midnight Black, white, and a red-and-gold gradient finish, whereas the Pro version is also offered in black and white.
Internals and Software
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series processor powers the OnePlus Ace 7, and the Ace 7 Pro runs on the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
RAM configurations reach up to 16GB on both units. Storage options top out at 512GB for the regular Ace 7 and 1TB for the Pro edition.
The Ice River dual-channel cooling system stands out as a primary feature of the lineup.
Unlike the predecessor Ace 6, these new phones incorporate a physical built-in fan to manage operating temperatures during gaming sessions.
Two airflow channels make up the cooling mechanism, with one directing air at the processor and the other cooling the rear panel to minimize heat felt by the user.
According to OnePlus, this setup lowers processor temperatures by up to 10°C after one hour of playing Peacekeeper Elite at 185 frames per second.
Additional thermal hardware features a large vapor chamber, internal cooling fins, and an artificial intelligence temperature sensor that automatically regulates fan speeds.
Three dedicated auxiliary chips are built in for gaming performance.
Swipe delay drops by 80% and tap delay decreases by 43% thanks to the T3 chip, which also enables gyroscope sampling rates of up to 800Hz during play.
Network lag during online gaming is reduced by the G3 chip, while screen processing is managed by the P4 display chip.
ColorOS 17 serves as the operating system for both devices, bringing features like Xiaobu Assistant, AI Tap, AI Notes, and Fluid Cloud Fusion.
Other hardware elements consist of NFC support, an infrared blaster, and an under-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Cameras
A 200MP main camera is shared by both the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro.
Their secondary camera hardware differs, however.
An 8MP ultrawide camera is fitted on the regular Ace 7, while the Ace 7 Pro contains a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom.
Log video recording, 4K video capture at 120 frames per second, and 8K capture at 30 frames per second are supported on the Pro variant.
Selfies and video calls rely on a 16.0MP front-facing camera present on both smartphones.
Battery and Pricing
Power is supplied by 9,000mAh batteries paired with 100W wired fast charging on both the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro.
Bypass charging is also supported, allowing electricity to power the phone directly during gaming instead of routing through the battery, which cuts down on heat generation during extended play.
Pricing for the base OnePlus Ace 7 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage starts at approximately $655.
The 16GB RAM and 256GB storage edition costs roughly $730, and the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage build is priced at about $775.
At the top end, the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration of the Ace 7 costs close to $850.
For the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro, the entry-level 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration starts at approximately $715.
The 16GB RAM and 256GB storage model runs about $790, and the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option costs roughly $835.
Higher tiers include the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage version at approximately $895, alongside the maximum 16GB RAM and 1TB storage edition priced at about $1,090.
Market release is set for China, with standard retail sales beginning on November 3, 2026.
International availability remains unconfirmed by OnePlus, though rumors indicate the Ace 7 Pro might debut in select regions under the OnePlus 16R moniker.
