A Pakistani liquefied natural gas cargo with Iranian permission to pass was attacked near the Strait of Hormuz on Friday night.
According to Bloomberg, a liquefied natural gas cargo belonging to Pakistan faced an attack close to the Strait of Hormuz even though Iran granted it permission to transit.
Bloomberg noted that the vessel targeted near the waterway held clearance from Iranian authorities for its journey.
A Qatari gas company reported that the LNG tanker was struck on Friday night, confirming that every crew member escaped injury.
The crew and the operators of the Pakistani LNG cargo are affected by security threats near the Strait of Hormuz.
The LNG tanker came under attack on Friday night.
No members of the crew were harmed in the incident.
