The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed a 14-member squad for the ICC Women's Emerging Nations Trophy 2026, appointing Muneeba Ali as captain and Ayesha Zafar as vice-captain.
The competition is scheduled in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, from November 12 to 25.
Regular skipper Fatima Sana will miss the event as she travels to Australia for her debut Women's Big Bash League season.
Pakistan kept 12 players from the bronze-medal squad at the Asian Games in Japan, while bringing back Sadaf Shamas and Waheeda Akhtar.
The batting order features Eman Naseer, Eyman Fatima, Sadaf Shamas, Saira Jabeen and Shawaal Zulfiqar. Gull Feroza, who was named best wicket-keeper batter in the recent National Women's T20 Tournament, also earned a place.
Left-arm spinner Nashra Sundhu will spearhead the bowling attack together with fellow spinners Momina Riasat, Tuba Hassan and Umm-e-Hani. Pace options include Tasmia Rubab and Waheeda Akhtar.
Pakistan has been placed in Group B with Bangladesh, Thailand, the Netherlands and Zimbabwe. Group A contains Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Papua New Guinea and host UAE.
The 30-match tournament starts with a single round-robin group stage. The top three teams from each group move to the Super Six, playing three matches each, and the two best sides will meet in the final on Wednesday, November 25.
Players will gather in Lahore on November 6 and hold a three-day training camp from November 7 to 9 before departing for the UAE.
