Archie Gray scored a header on 25 minutes against ten-man Crystal Palace to send Tottenham on their way to a 2-0 victory, lifting Roberto De Zerbi's side up to eighth place in the Premier League table on Saturday 31 October.
Gray headed home from a corner routine shortly after Jean-Philippe Mateta was sent off for a high tackle on Micky van de Ven. Referee Michael Oliver initially showed a yellow card, but after a VAR review advised by Jarred Gillett, the forward was dismissed for the studs-up challenge.

The goal mirrored Gray's effort in a 1-0 win over the Eagles in December 2025 under Thomas Frank. Mo Kudus provided the corner delivery to the back post, allowing the unmarked 20-year-old to nod past Dean Henderson.
Spurs fans in the South Stand paid tribute to former record scorer Harry Kane around the 28th minute following his Ballon D'Or triumph. Palace manager Pierre Sage watched his side struggle to create openings as Tottenham pressed after the interval.
