What to Expect from Butlin's Christmas Festive Wonderland Breaks

Holiday park operator Butlin's has announced a brand new line-up of entertainment for the upcoming winter season, introducing two fresh shows alongside the return of popular seasonal traditions. Families planning a getaway can book four-night Festive Wonderland breaks with prices starting from £39 total, which works out to just £10 per person based on group occupancy. These budget-friendly holidays are available to book for dates running between November 23 and December 30.

The announcement brings details of fresh programming designed to draw visitors to all three of the company's UK coastal resorts. Alongside the low starting price, the holiday provider is emphasizing that many seasonal activities, including visits to Father Christmas, require no additional fees. Guests visiting during the winter months will also retain full access to standard park facilities, combining traditional holiday atmosphere with active family entertainment.

New Shows and Returning Santa Experiences at All Three Resorts

For the upcoming holiday season, every resort will host two brand new productions created specifically for the winter schedule. The first addition is a live band performing traditional holiday songs infused with a rock music twist. The second new addition is a tribute performance dedicated to Robbie Williams, titled Rock DJ, featuring a setlist of the artist's biggest hits.

Alongside these new performances, the Father Christmas Express Delivery experience is returning for 2026 and remains included in the base price of the holiday. Santa will be stationed inside a festive grotto at all three locations to greet young visitors. The experience begins with a thirty-minute interactive journey where families travel in a lift to the grotto, allowing children to write out their Christmas Day wish lists before meeting Father Christmas, chatting with him, and having a professional photo taken.

Entertainment Director at Butlin's Mike Godolphin spoke about the seasonal offerings. He said, As we wrap up an incredible year of celebrating our 90th birthday, we're ending it on a festive high.

Mike Godolphin also added, The most wonderful time of the year is made extra special at Butlin's, with non-stop festive shows and activities, all included in the price of breaks.

Pantomimes, Pool Parties, and Standard Park Perks

Entertainment schedules across all parks will feature two weekly performances of the classic pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. Families will also find a variety of daily activities included in their stay, such as festive arts and crafts sessions, themed pool parties, holiday discos, Christmas film screenings, and character photoshoot opportunities.

Standard year-round attractions remain open during the winter season to complement the holiday itinerary. Guests can use the Splash Waterworld indoor pool complexes, ride the attractions at the fairgrounds, visit the SKYPARK playgrounds located in Minehead and Skegness, or let younger children use the Skyline Gang Soft Play centre in Bognor Regis. Regular shows like the Peppa Pig-Nic Celebration featuring Evie Pig and Animals and Mythical Beasts will also continue running.

Mike Godolphin noted the unique combination of winter weather and water activities available during the stay. He said, While most families will be heading to the sofas after their Christmas lunch, our guests can whizz down the slides at Splash Waterworld. Where else can you swap your Christmas jumper for a swimsuit on Christmas Day?

Mike Godolphin also stated, There's no better place for a well-earned festive getaway, and we can't wait to welcome thousands of guests across our three resorts.
