Cyprus Airways is bringing back daily direct flights from London Stansted to Larnaca on April 23, 2027, marking the carrier's return to the UK market after more than ten years.

Regular flights to London previously operated until 2015 using Stansted, though that prior business operated under government ownership.

Operations will run throughout the year, with Economy Basic return fares beginning at €423, equivalent to £355, according to the airline website.

Passengers choosing this basic fare receive a personal item and a 10kg cabin bag.

Economy Flex adds a 23kg checked bag and free seat selection to the 10kg cabin bag and personal item.

Business Class passengers receive priority check-in, lounge access, meals, fast track, seat selection, two 32kg checked bags, and 15kg of cabin baggage.

Chief executive Thanos Pascalis stated that adding London Stansted from April 2027 gives customers more choice and flexibility while strengthening their presence in a major international market for Cyprus.

Pascalis added that they look forward to welcoming travelers and offering reliability, convenience, and authentic Cypriot hospitality.

Travelers landing in Larnaca during April can anticipate average high temperatures near 18C.

October brings highs of 22C, while December sees temperatures reach 14C.

Airport queues should remain short because Cyprus does not enforce EES checks.

British citizens possessing a valid passport may stay in the country up to 90 days without obtaining a visa.

The island experiences more than 300 sunny days annually and features scenic shores, including Golden Beach on the Karpaz Peninsula in the north, which ranked number 30 out of 50 on the Europe list of World's Best Beaches.

Golden Beach spans 2.4 miles of sand, features dunes, and hosts sea turtle nesting sites.

Singer Peter Andre owns a villa in Larnaca and recommends specific local eateries.

Andre told Sun Travel that his recommendations include Theta in Perivolia near the airport, a Japanese venue called Nippon, and Opa Souvlaki Kiti for traditional Cypriot Greek kebabs.
