Darts player James Wade surprised online audiences by revealing a humorous Halloween costume alongside his family, accompanied by a warning for supporters.
The 43-year-old shared photographs of his household dressed up for the holiday, writing the caption, "You're not allowed to laugh..."
Wade successfully transformed into Lord Farquaad while his family members dressed as other figures from the popular film series.
Supporters quickly praised how brilliant Wade appeared while attempting to mimic the animated figure, and his facial expression drew widespread amusement.
One user wrote, "f***ing howling at this!"
A second posted, "Might be the greatest picture of all-time."
A third commented, "Some of you will die laughing - but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make," using a line from the movie character.
A fourth remarked, "Actually burst out laughing at this."
Wade currently holds the number seven ranking globally, though he did not secure a major WDF tournament victory.
However, he has claimed numerous PDC victories, which feature three UK Opens.
His strongest performance at the World Championships brought him to the semi-final stage four separate times, most recently in 2022.
