A major outdoor retailer pulled a baby seat off shelves because of choking concerns. Shoppers bought the red and black bicycle attachment both through internet platforms and physical shops.
Decathlon pulled the HAMAX Buddy Baby Seat because the tag on it brings a "risk of choking". A notice issued by the Office for Product Safety and Standards stated, "The product presents a risk of choking due to the textile safety label attached to the harness strap."
The notice continued, "This label may detach, creating a small part. A young child may place the small part in their mouth and choke. The product has been recalled from end users by Decathlon. We recommend that you keep this product out of reach of children until the label is removed."
Decathlon also advised buyers to quit using the seat until workers take off the tag. People can take the item to their closest Decathlon shop to get the tag taken off or to receive a refund. The business mentioned that seats lacking this tag face no danger.
In a separate case, Wish officially pulled a Goose Patting Baby Sleep Pillow intended for babies and newborns following a severe safety evaluation.
