On October 28, 2026, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi released the outcomes for the first annual Class 9 Science Group tests, recording a pass percentage of 69.56% overall, according to the official statement.
Data from the release show that 180,054 pupils enrolled for the tests, while 177,923 actually participated and 2,131 stayed away.
Professor Musharraf Ali Rajput, who serves as the board chairman, sent congratulations to every pupil who cleared all exams, noting that fairness stayed a main focus for the organisation. Ahmed Khan, the controller of examinations, stated that 123,757 test-takers cleared every subject.
Data show that 21,999 pupils cleared six subjects, 11,006 cleared five, 7,431 cleared four, 4,409 cleared three, 3,101 cleared two and 2,439 cleared one subject. Officials noted that 53,849 participants did not pass the tests.
Pupils are able to view their scores via the official portal at www.bsek.edu.pk starting at 5:30 p.m. on October 28, 2026.
