Karachi traffic authorities released a route diversion scheme for drivers starting tonight, prompted by ongoing construction on flyovers along Nishtar Road, Lalu Line, Garden Road, and Aga Khan III Road, ARY News reported.
Traffic police stated that the roadway between Goodluck Marriage Hall and Jaman Shah Mazar shuts down tonight.
Drivers coming from Lyari Expressway and Pak Colony must direct their vehicles through Orange Street as an alternate path. Motorists can access Nishtar Road via De Silva Street before taking a U-turn close to Jaman Shah Mazar.
Drivers traveling toward Saddar have permission to use Aga Khan III Road.
Motorists moving from Murad Khan Chowk can get to Fawara Chowk by way of Shalimar Street. From Fawara Chowk, drivers may travel via Orange Street and Lalu Line Road to arrive at Manghopir Road.
An additional detour originating from Murad Khan Chowk leads through Garden Official Street toward Jilani Chowk and Dhobi Ghat.
Authorities will redirect heavy transport away from Bara Board toward Nazimabad, Gulbahar, and Lasbela. Vehicles bound for MA Jinnah Road and Gurumandir must also follow alternate paths.
The department will station traffic officers and staff at every detour location to assist drivers.
A spokesperson for the traffic police urged the public to select alternate routes and obey directives given by traffic personnel.
