Samar Haroon Bilour, the Advisor to the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor on Information and Public Relations, stated that proper human rights protection demands better joint strategies, information sharing, and stronger coordination between related institutions.

Her office released a statement explaining that the provincial administration is working to connect all human rights entities through a shared digital portal to improve complaint resolution efficiency.

She mentioned that while various government departments currently operate within their legal boundaries, a lack of efficient coordination and information exchange leads to duplicate efforts and delays in handling complaints.

This upcoming joint digital portal aims to solve those issues by ensuring the process runs faster, with better coordination and effectiveness.

The strategy avoids setting up new parallel entities, choosing instead to connect current organizations via a single digital network.

Through this platform, users can submit human rights complaints, send them to the appropriate agency, track progress, and log final outcomes, all while each group stays inside its legal mandate.

Agencies such as the police, the Social Welfare Department, ombudsmen, and other human rights organizations will join the portal so grievances reach the correct authority quickly and tracking progress remains efficient.
