Chelsea enters tonight's Carabao Cup fourth round match against Liverpool eager to recover from a recent loss to Tottenham, though manager Xabi Alonso must manage without the suspended Cole Palmer following his weekend red card.
Alonso looks for a repeat of the performance that secured a 6-3 victory against Leeds in the third round, while opponents Liverpool enter the fixture having won six of their past seven matches, which includes a third round win over Spurs.
