Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has restarted direct flights linking Islamabad and Beijing, with the inaugural service taking off on Oct 30.

Under the new timetable, the carrier will run a single flight each week on Fridays between the two capitals, saying it intends to provide competitive pricing while keeping services steady and reliable.

To broaden its reach throughout China, PIA has deepened ties with Air China, Shenzhen Airlines and Hainan Airlines. The alliance with Air China will give travelers onward connections from Beijing to many domestic Chinese cities.

This revival reestablishes air links between Pakistan and China and signals the airline's intention to keep regular operations in the Chinese market.
