An internship programme for degree holders will kick off in November this year, according to an announcement from the provincial government of Sindh.
Sharjeel Inam Memon, who serves as Senior Provincial Minister, stated that the upcoming phase of physical short courses for skilled people will also roll out alongside private companies. Market demand will guide the focus of these training courses.
Memon reported that the I Work for Sindh portal has drawn over 5.3 million visits to date and features 26,677 active job openings right now. During the last three months, 4,800 participants finished courses through the portal, while another 6,000 trainees remain enrolled in different programmes.
The government of Sindh aims to provide youth with a proper platform to reach improved prospects, Memon mentioned.
