Following an initial release in China last month, Vivo has brought its X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max smartphone series to international markets. Most specifications from the domestic release remain intact, though the international Pro Max features a reduced battery size. Regional differences affect pricing, and the base X500 is restricted to specific Southeast Asian territories while skipping regions like Europe entirely.

Selected Southeast Asian nations, including Malaysia, receive the standard X500 model. Malaysian customers can purchase the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration for MYR 4,699 ($1,149), while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version costs MYR 5,299 ($1,296).

Hardware specifications match the Chinese edition, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 9600M processor alongside a 6.58-inch AMOLED screen. Powering the device is a 7,500mAh battery paired with a triple camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.

Malaysian pricing for the Vivo X500 Pro begins at MYR 5,699 ($1,394) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option. European markets list this identical configuration at €1,299, whereas the 512GB storage model sells for €1,449.

Equipped similarly to its Chinese counterpart, the X500 Pro runs on MediaTek's flagship Dimensity 9600 Pro processor. It includes a 6.39-inch LTPO AMOLED screen and a 6,510mAh silicon-carbon battery. Camera hardware on the back features a 50MP main shooter, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor.

International release plans also include the X500 Pro Max, which arrives with a single hardware modification. The battery capacity decreases to 7,800mAh, down from the 8,000mAh cell found in the Chinese variant. Nevertheless, all three new smartphones accommodate 90W wired charging alongside 40W wireless charging.

Malaysian buyers find the X500 Pro Max starting at MYR 6,099 ($1,491) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage edition. The maximum configuration pairs 16GB of RAM with 1TB of storage alongside a photography kit for MYR 9,699 ($2,372).

European customers face a price of €1,499 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Upgrading to the 1TB option bundled together with the photography kit increases the cost to €2,199.

Expanding the flagship X500 family outside China, Vivo maintains most original specifications with this rollout. Nevertheless, regional availability and costs vary, meaning certain areas do not receive every model.
