Adrian Lewis amazed supporters by revealing a fresh hairstyle during his return to the sport in Derby.
The two-time world champion stepped back up to the oche for a special darts evening, receiving an enthusiastic reception from the crowd as he entered the stage.
Supporters quickly took to social media to discuss the 41-year-old athlete's unexpected hairstyle.
While the player typically maintained a neat short back and sides haircut, he debuted a mullet for the attendees at this special exhibition.
One spectator remarked, "Adrian Lewis has a mullet, I can't spaaaaake."
Despite sporting a new look that might require more time to grow into a proper mullet, his skills remained entirely intact.
Lewis achieved a remarkable average of 112.63 during his match against fellow darts legend Gary Anderson.
Anderson remains active on the Pro Tour circuit and managed a respectable average of 97.56.
Prior to this event, Lewis played his last professional darts match in April 2023 before stepping back to prioritize his family life.
He has since made a comeback to exhibition matches alongside Phil Taylor.
Another prominent figure in the sport to recently display a new appearance was Master of Ceremonies John McDonald, who returned from retirement to host Netflix event Beat Luke Littler.
