The Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment (BEOE) has uploaded thousands of overseas job openings on its official website and Facebook page, enabling seekers to check, verify and search for positions offered by licensed recruiting agencies.

Media reports note that, under the Emigration Rules of 1979, the Protector of Emigrants issues recruitment permission to licensed agencies for a set period.

Such permission is granted only after three entities confirm the foreign employer's need: the Pakistani embassy in the host nation, that nation's ministry of foreign affairs, and its embassy in Pakistan.

Every permission order is assigned a unique Permission Tracking Number (PTN), which agencies must include in all advertisements. Once approved, the job details are posted on the BEOE site under the corresponding PTN for the duration of the recruitment drive.

The listing disappears automatically once all advertised slots are filled. The recruiting agency remains fully accountable for the workers it places. Candidates and workers may lodge complaints directly with BEOE or the relevant Protector of Emigrants.
