Capital Development Authority officials issued a 15-day deadline to JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman on October 30, 2026, ordering him to clear suspected unauthorized structures at his Islamabad house or face potential demolition and legal proceedings.

Authorities pinpointed building infractions at Plot No. 07, Street No. 83, Sector G-6/4 through an official notice.

Infractions cited by the agency consist of an unapproved guard room, a generator placed on land belonging to the CDA, and building work inside required setbacks.

The CDA instructed the occupant and owner of the property to clear all infractions inside the 15-day window.

An affidavit was previously provided by the owner on March 18, 2019, pledging to clear setback infractions inside three months and follow agency rules, but officials state the infractions are still present.

Officials cautioned that ignoring the directive might trigger legal action pursuant to the CDA Ordinance and Islamabad Capital Territory Building Control Regulations.

Potential measures involve sealing or tearing down unapproved buildings and starting steps to revoke the property allotment.

The Directorate of Building Control (City) of the CDA produced the notice.
