HMD unveiled the Nokia 2360 Flip, a clamshell feature phone equipped with remote management capabilities. Built for senior citizens and school students, this handset features two screens along with a specialized emergency SOS key.

Family Assist stands out as a primary function, enabling relatives to control the device from a distance. Caregivers and parents can modify settings, alter volume, program reminders, and input contacts without needing physical possession of the hardware.

A back panel houses a dedicated SOS button. Pressing this trigger dials a pre-determined emergency number and dispatches warning texts to as many as five individuals.

A significant drawback accompanies the Nokia 2360 Flip. Support is limited strictly to 2G networks, a factor that might limit usability in areas where telecom providers have shut down 2G services.

Hardware specifications include a 2.8-inch primary screen alongside a 1.77-inch outer display. Powering the unit is a removable 1,450mAh battery, complemented by a QVGA camera and a loudspeaker.

Additional hardware consists of a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, and 4MB of onboard storage. Such components maintain the phone's purpose around standard calls and daily talks. Buyers can choose the Nokia 2360 Flip in Charcoal, Burgundy Red, and Teal shades, though HMD has not yet disclosed release dates or costs.
