During the nine months ending September 30, 2026, easypaisa digital bank achieved a Profit Before Tax of PKR 13.30 billion and a Profit After Tax of PKR 7.41 billion, according to financial statements approved by the Board of Directors. The Profit Before Tax marked a 2.35x increase compared to the same period in the previous year, while the Earnings per Share reached PKR 12.31.

Core business streams drove this expansion, backed by a growing user base, higher transaction volumes, and ongoing spending on digital innovation, technology, talent, and customer acquisition.

Total revenue climbed by 38.53% year-on-year to reach PKR 46.67 billion, showing positive momentum in fee-based, treasury, and lending streams. Net markup income advanced by 37.0% due to treasury investments and a larger lending portfolio, supported by growth in customer deposits. Fee-based income rose by 40.63%, propelled by increased earnings from insurance products, disbursements, collections, and online payments.

Non-markup expenses rose to PKR 32.80 billion, mirroring revenue growth, and accounted for investments in merchant penetration, customer engagement and acquisition, and risk-sharing costs tied to higher digital lending volumes. This resulted in a cost-to-income ratio of 70.27%.

Customer deposits experienced a year-on-year increase of 59.06% to total PKR 174.39 billion, while the deposit mix maintained a CASA ratio of 96.99% and a current account ratio of 79%. Net advances climbed to PKR 31.65 billion, giving an advances-to-deposit ratio of 18.15%. Asset quality stayed strong, with non-performing loans accounting for 2.91% of gross advances and a coverage ratio of 165.07%.

The institution maintained sufficient capital with a capital adequacy ratio of 27.54% on September 30, 2026, exceeding regulatory standards. In July of the same year, the Pakistan Credit Rating Agency raised easypaisa's long-term entity rating to "AA-" while keeping the short-term rating at "A1", citing the sound asset quality, financial performance, capital position, and risk management of the institution.

Jahanzeb Khan, President and CEO of easypaisa digital bank, remarked on the quarterly performance, saying, "These results demonstrate that our growth as a digital bank is translating into strong and sustainable financial performance. With an expanding customer base, growing deposits and increasing adoption of digital financial services, we are building a broader digital banking ecosystem that goes beyond payments.
