Financial platform LemFi, serving individuals establishing lives across borders, revealed its new global brand platform titled, "Ambition has no passport", alongside a completely redesigned app that delivers the largest product expansion in company history.

More than two million customers use LemFi to transfer funds to over 30 countries, generating more than $2 billion in monthly transaction volume, with plans to incorporate additional nations next year. The upgraded platform now features savings and credit services in the UK, eSIMs spanning over 100 destinations, alongside the company's established international payments offering.

Individuals who relocate bring careers, qualifications, and savings records, only to discover that nearly none of it carries over, as credit histories rarely survive border crossings. Approximately 304 million people currently reside outside their birth countries, transmitting about $905 billion home annually, yet numerous financial services remain structured around single products or customers operating within one country. LemFi addresses this gap by expanding from international transfers into broader financial services for people with cross-border lives.

"We started LemFi because sending money home was broken. What we learned is that the harder problem starts after the transfer," stated Ridwan Olalere, co-founder and chief executive officer of LemFi. "Our customers are building careers and businesses in one country while supporting people in another, and the financial system treats them as if they can only exist in one place at a time. That is the wrong answer for people this ambitious, so we have rebuilt LemFi to work the way their lives do. Ambition travels. The infrastructure behind it should travel too."

Transfers remain central to the platform, allowing users to send money to over 30 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and beyond from an account that now handles savings, borrowing, and connectivity.

UK savings accounts offer an instant access option paying a boosted 5 percent AER for the initial six months following account opening, before reverting to a 3.04 percent AER tracker linked to the Bank of England base rate. Accounts require a minimum of £1 to open with zero withdrawal penalties, while deposits are held by ClearBank and secured by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme up to £120,000 per eligible depositor.

UK credit history mobility arrives via a revolving credit line issued by Lemfi Credit through Pillar, an FCA-regulated credit provider acquired by LemFi in 2025, accessible as a virtual card via Apple Pay and Google Pay for spending and sending. Eligible users may also view their Equifax credit score inside the app at no cost.

eSIM functionality covers more than 100 destinations across every market, enabling users to purchase mobile data prior to arrival without physical SIM card swaps or roaming fees.

The application was redesigned from scratch to accommodate multiple products across several countries within a single account instead of attaching them to a transfer utility. This overhaul highlights LemFi products for easier discovery and establishes an architecture allowing future service additions during expansion.

The enterprise also debuted its global brand platform, "Ambition has no passport", celebrating customers establishing careers, businesses, families, and financial lives across borders across the product interface, website, marketing, and social channels globally.

"LemFi started as a way to send money home. Our customers turned it into a way to build a life across borders," noted Isabel Ron-Pedrique, vice president of design and brand at LemFi. "They are not defined by the country they left. They are defined by what they are building. Ambition has no passport is not a line we placed on top of the product. It is the idea the whole system is built from, from the app you open in the morning to the poster you walk past on the way to work. We have built this brand to keep up with them."

Savings and credit features are currently available in the UK at launch, with other regions scheduled to follow.
